Autism Speaks is the leading autism science and advocacy organization, dedicated to funding research into the causes, prevention, treatments and a cure for autism; increasing awareness of autism spectrum disorders; and advocating for the needs of individuals with autism and their families.
CCRE has participated in fundraising and walking in Santa Barbara’s annual Walk Now For Autism Speaks since it’s inaugural event in 2008.
Santa Barbara Trust for Historic Preservation (SBTHP)
Founded in 1963 by Dr. Pearl Chase and other community leaders, the Santa Barbara Trust for Historic Preservation (SBTHP) works to preserve, restore, reconstruct and interpret historic sites in Santa Barbara County.
The principals of CCRE actively support SBTHP’s efforts to protect, preserve, and interpret the historic and cultural resources that make our community exceptional. Katie Hay was elected to the Board of Directors in January 2012.
